MICAT 2026 is the institute-specific entrance test for admission into the prestigious PGDM and PGDM-C programs offered by MICA Ahmedabad. Organised by MICA Ahmedabad itself, the test assesses the creativity, communication abilities, analytical skills and aptitude/personality requirements necessary for a successful career in management.
The MICAT 2026 exam was conducted in two phases. On 6 December 2025 the MICAT Phase 1 test was conducted and on 13 February 2026 the MICAT Phase 2 test was conducted. Registration for MICAT Phase 1 and Phase 2 commenced from September 2025 and 29 November 2025 respectively. The last date for submitting applications was 23 November 2025 and 30 January 2026 respectively. The result of the final selection will be declared on 14 April 2026.
Those applying through the MICAT test are required to take either CAT, XAT or GMAT as a valid score in one of these exams is mandatory for admission consideration. Given that the MICAT test is taken twice every year, applicants can choose to take one or both sessions and MICA takes into account the higher score.

MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to MICA Ahmedabad PGDM programs through the MICAT exam -
Have taken the CAT 2025, XAT 2026 or GMAT exam starting in 2024.
Have a bachelor's degree that has been recognised by the AIU or the Association of Indian Universities.
Final year graduation students may also apply for the MICA entrance test.

MICAT Syllabus 2026
The syllabus of MICAT has three major sections that need different skills.
Section A - Psychometric Test checks personality and thinking style.
Section B - Descriptive Test measures writing and creativity.
Section C - Aptitude Test includes -

MICAT Admit Card 2026
The MICAT 2026 hall ticket was issued separately for each phase through the official MICA website mica.ac.in. According to the MICAT 2026 calendar, the admit card for the Phase 1 MICAT exam was made available starting from 3rd December 2025 while the second phase of MICAT 2 admit card was made available on 10th February 2026.
Students who have completed the MICAT 2026 registration procedure will be able to access their admit card by logging in at the official portal. Students should carry a hard-printed copy of the MICAT admit card along with them to the exam centre on the day of the exam. It is recommended to keep a copy of the admit card safe until the end of the MICAT admission procedure.

MICAT 2026 Result and Scores
The MICAT exam results 2026 were declared individually for each phase on the official website mica.ac.in. Those candidates appearing in the test can download their MICAT scorecard by accessing the MICAT candidate portal.
According to the MICAT 2026 timeline, the MICAT Phase 2 results were announced on 28 February 2026 while the first phase MICAT scorecard was announced on 24 December 2025. The MICAT Phase 3 result date was declared later.
The final MICAT results are separately prepared by MICA for each round and are used to select the candidates for the next rounds of the admission process which include Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI).
It is recommended that the candidates download and preserve a copy of their MICAT 2026 scorecard till the completion of the whole admission process. The link to check the MICAT 2026 result will be made available on the official website after its declaration.
MICAT Selection Process 2026
Admission to MICA College the MICAT 2026 selection involves three main stages -
Step 1 - Take the CAT, XAT or GMAT score.
Step 2 - Take the MICAT exam either one or both.
