The date for the XAT 2027 exam is supposed to be 3rd January 2027. What is the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)?
XLRI Jamshedpur administers the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), a national-level MBA entrance test for admission to its MBA Business Management and MBA Human Resource Management programs. Apart from XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT test results are also accepted by more than 150 institutes as well as almost 600 business schools in India that participate in the XAT exam. After the XAT exam, shortlisted candidates have to appear for further selection rounds such as Essay Writing and Personal Interview (PI) for final MBA admission.

XAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed at least three years of study toward a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university.
Even final-year students can apply for XAT 2027.
Although there is no minimum score for appearing in XAT 2027, to apply for an MBA you need a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category) or 45% (for reserved categories) at graduation.
No age limit for the XAT exam 2027. Anyone can take the exam.

Candidates should strictly adhere to all the instructions provided in the admit card for XAT 2027. Some of the crucial instructions for the XAT exam day are provided below -
Carry two printouts of the XAT 2027 admit card to the test centre.
The digital format of the admit card or ID proof will not be accepted by the test centre. Only hard copy will be considered.
Arrive at the test centre one hour in advance of the time reported in the admit card.
Use of electronic gadgets like mobile phones, watches, calculators etc is not allowed in the exam hall.
Do not bring any unnecessary stationery. Candidates can bring only a ballpoint pen in blue or black colour.
Do not bring bags or any edible items to the exam centre.

As soon as the XAT 2027 exam results are declared the admission procedure starts for XLRI and other institutions participating in the process. Shortlisting for further procedures is done only for candidates who meet the XAT cutoff.
