AIMA UGAT Exam

The test is conducted in May. The applicants must have completed 10+2 or be appearing for the final exam of 10+2. The test is available on paper.  UGAT is a test that evaluates the general ability and knowledge of a student.

The sections from which the question papers are prepared are General Knowledge (GK), Reasoning & Intelligence, English Language and Numerical and Data Analysis. It is a two-hour test for BBA and similar courses. In the UGAT exam, multiple types of questions have to be answered by the applicants. For every right answer, one mark is awarded; otherwise, for a wrong answer, marks are deducted.

After the test, UGAT results are published by AIMA on its official website. Sectional and overall scores are shown in the scorecard. The scorecard is used by the students to apply to colleges that accept UGAT scores. The admission depends on the cut-off and selection criteria of the specific college.

AIMA UGAT Exam Pattern 2026

The AIMA UGAT exam pattern consists of four sections. Steps to download the AIMA UGAT Exam Admit Card

The admit card and admission card are essential documents for the applicants who are going to take the UGAT exam. Here are the steps applicants have to follow to get the admit card:

• Go to the AIMA UGAT portal found in the "Exams" or "Admissions" page of aima.in.

• Now search for the tab that is labelled as "UGAT Admit Card" or "Download Admit Card" link, then click it.

• Applicants will provide their registration ID (or application number) and password (or date of birth) when prompted.

• To view your account dashboard, click the "Submit" or "Login" buttons.

• In your dashboard, find and click on the "Download Admit Card" button or link.

• Once the admit card is received, make sure that all personal details, the date of the exam, the time and centre information are correct.

• To download the admit card, click on the download icon or the "Save as PDF" option.

•  To reach the UGAT section, go to the "Exams" menu or homepage announcements.

•  Locate and click the link named "UGAT Results 2025" (or the latest year).

• Applicants will be asked to provide their registration/application number and possibly their date of birth or password.

• To view their results, click on the "Submit" or "Check Result" options.

• After logging in, UGAT results (section-wise scores and total marks) will be displayed on the screen.
