The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for admission into its 5-year IPM program. IPMAT full form is the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test.

The IPM program allows students to join IIM Indore after Class 12 and complete both undergraduate and MBA programs in a single program.

For 2026, the application process has begun from 2nd February 2026 and will continue until 14th March 2026. The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam will be conducted on 4th May 2026 (afternoon session). The exam will be held in a computer-based mode at various centers across the country.

The exam tests students' ability in quantitative and verbal ability in three sections: quantitative ability (MCQ), quantitative ability (short answer) and verbal ability. Each section has a fixed time limit and candidates need to be careful about time management.

The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam is conducted on May 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The registration process began on February 2, 2026 and the last date to apply is March 14, 2026. Important Dates are given below-

IPMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria of the IIM IPM Indore Exam 2026.

Age

• Candidates should be born on or after August 1, 2006 to be eligible.

• SC/ST/PwD candidates are given an age relaxation of 5 years (born on or after August 1, 2001).

Qualifying Exam

• The candidate must have passed or be appearing for Class 12/HSC or equivalent in 2024, 2025 or 2026.

• The candidate must have completed Class 10/SSC or equivalent.

Note: Candidates who are expecting to complete Class 12/HSC by July 31, 2026 can also apply if they meet the eligibility criteria.

Candidates who want to take the IPMAT exam should register online by visiting the official IPMAT website. Candidates must also choose the number of attempts they want to take in their application form. Each IPMAT exam session has a separate fee. The application fee for IPMAT IIM Indore 2026 is different for different categories. The application fee for candidates belonging to the unreserved category is ₹4130 (including 18% GST) while SC, ST and PwD candidates have to pay ₹2065 (including 18% GST).

Indore IPMAT 2026 Admit Card

Only those candidates who register for the IPMAT 2026 exam and pay the application fee will be able to download the IPMAT 2026 admit card. The IPMAT admit card will be released on the official website of IIM Indore.

• Go to the official website of IIM Indore.

• Click on the Admit Card link.

• Enter your Application Number/User ID and Password.

• Log in to your account.

• The IPMAT 2026 admit card will be displayed on the screen.

• Download the admit card and keep a printed copy for future reference.

The IPMAT 2026 admit card will have details like your name, roll number, photograph, signature, date of the exam, time of the exam, exam centre and other instructions. It is mandatory to bring the admit card to the exam centre, as without it, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

IPMAT Indore Results 2026

The result for IPMAT 2026 is expected to be announced in the first week of June 2026. First, the provisional shortlist of candidates will be announced, followed by the final result. Candidates shortlisted in the final list will be called for the Personal Interview (PI) phase.

Candidates can check their IPMAT result by logging in with their Application ID and Password generated during the registration process.
