The XGMT 2027 notification will be released shortly by XIM University. Candidates who wish to take admission in MBA at XIM University can apply through XGMT 2027 or other national-level MBA entrance exams such as CAT, XAT and NMAT. The final week of January will see the online administration of the XGMT 2027 exam. For reference, the XGMT 2026 exam took place on 25 January 2026.

Any candidate who holds a bachelor's degree from a recognised university is eligible to appear for the XGMT entrance exam. XIM University will shortlist candidates for MBA admission based on their performance in XGMT or other accepted entrance exams. The final selection will be based on the candidate's overall performance in all selection processes including GD, WAT and the personal interview round.

What is XGMT?

Xavier General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is an online entrance examination organised by XIM University previously known as Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB). The entrance exam for several MBA programs offered by XIM - Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar is called XGMT. The test structure remains similar to the XGMT previous year question paper helping candidates understand the difficulty level. The XGMT test pattern is a computer-based test administered at different test centres across six cities in India

The registration process for XGMT 2027 at XIM University will be conducted in online mode through the official website xim.edu.in. Candidates will be able to fill out the XGMT application form 2027 till the last date which also coincides with the XIMB Bhubaneswar last date to apply and XIMB MBA registration timeline. XGMT 2027 Admit Card 

The XGMT admit card 2027 will only be given to applicants who successfully register for the test. After getting published, candidates can download the admit card from the official website xim.edu.in

The applicants must take a printout of their admit cards and bring it to the testing location as without it entry will not be allowed. The admit card of XGMT will mention some important information like exam date, time, venue and other instructions. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam room if they do not have a paper copy of their admission card.

XGMT 2027 Results

The XGMT results will be declared on the official website and the XGMT result date will be announced by the university. Candidates can log in using their login ID to check the XGMT 2027 result. Based on the scores, the institutes will announce the XGMT cut-off for XIMB also commonly referred to as the XGMT cutoff. Shortlisted candidates forming the XIMB shortlist 2027 will have to report for the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. Final selection will be done based on -

XGMT or XIM University Common Management Test is the entrance test conducted by XIM University for admission to various MBA programs.

The pattern for XGMT 2027 consists of multiple-choice questions in an online computer-based test which has to be attempted within a fixed duration of 120 minutes.

The XGMT exam has four sections namely Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Emotional Quotient with General Awareness all with objective-type questions.

The required qualifications for the XGMT application are that the candidate should have a three-year bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate from an acknowledged university.

The last date for registration is 10 January 2025 and the exam date is 25 January 2026. The XGMT result was out on 31 Jan 2026.

The XGMT exam fee consists of ₹1500 as the exam fee, ₹1800 as the basic registration fee, and ₹400 as the additional score fee with one form of application permitting candidates to apply for several XIM University courses.

XGMT is an institute-level exam conducted only by XIM University while CAT, XAT, GMAT and NMAT are national-level exams accepted by multiple B-schools across India including XIM University. Candidates can use either XGMT or any of these national exam scores for the Master of Business Administration admission at XIM University.

In the XGMT exam each correct response earns three marks but one mark is deducted for each incorrect response as part of a negative marking scheme.
