What is JIPMAT 2026 Exam?

Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is a national-level entrance examination organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The entrance exam is conducted for admission to the 5-year IPM program offered by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya

The JIPMAT tests applicants in three categories – Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.

This exam can be considered a great chance for students seeking management education after class 12th to get enrolled in top Indian Institutes of Management.

Highlights of the JIPMAT Exam 2026

The National Testing Agency administers the JIPMAT exam. The exam is conducted in online mode. Only multiple-choice questions are asked, to be solved in 150 minutes. JIPMAT online exam will be conducted on 7 Jun 2026. Candidates will receive a +4 for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for choosing the wrong answer.

JIPMAT 2026 Application process commences from 16th April 2026 and ends on 10th May 2026, while the last date for fee submission will be 11th May 2026. Corrections are allowed between 12th to 14th May 2026. The examination will be held on 7th June 2026 (3:00 pm - 5:30 pm). Expected dates for answer key release in the third week of May 2026 and result declaration in the second week of June 2026. Applicants should register for JIPMAT with in timeline.

JIPMAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The test is a multiple-choice question type. All the questions have four options and candidates need to choose the correct one. Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer and lose one mark for a wrong answer. The JIPMAT exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.

JIPMAT 2026 Syllabus

The JIPMAT syllabus 2026 is structured to test the overall aptitude of the applicant in three major aspects: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. Exam Centre Details

Exam centre details will be made available in the exam city intimation slip, which can be downloaded in June 2026. This slip will provide candidates with details regarding the city in which their exam centre is situated. The particular address and location of the exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidates should carefully read both of them and plan their travel accordingly. So that candidates are not confused on the day of the exam, it is suggested that candidates should visit the exam centre early if possible.

  • Know the Exam Pattern & Syllabus- First and foremost, make sure that you know everything about the exam pattern and structure. This will involve knowing the number of sections in the test, the marks distribution, as well as the syllabus. This paper consists of three sections – Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability.
