BBA Applied Finance Program Launched by NIIT University with 18-Month Internship Support

The National Institute of Information Technology University has launched a new BBA Applied Finance program in partnership with Grant Thornton Bharat LLP. The course goal is to combine undergraduate finance education with direct industry exposure and consulting-oriented skill development.

The course has been designed as an employment-linked business degree rather than a conventional classroom-heavy commerce study, according to the NIIT University. Admissions to the newly launched BBA Applied Finance program are now open and candidates can apply through NIIT University official website

NIIT University has framed the partnership as an effort to bring finance education closer to practical workplace application with a greater focus on software-based learning, exposure to consulting and real-world corporate problem-solving throughout the undergraduate degree program. 

The announcement further stated that GTBharat will take part in curriculum inputs, industry mentorship, internships, project supervision and evaluation support while the university will continue to manage academic instruction, internal assessment and campus delivery. Enrollment for the programme is anticipated to open immediately for the upcoming academic year. 

NIIT University - Industry Immersion and Applied Finance

According to the institution, students enrolling in the applied finance track will receive a curriculum that is primarily application-led rather than theory-dependent in addition to 18 months of structured industrial practice with stipend-backed engagement.
