BGU Launches MBA in Business Analytics with KPMG - Last Date to Apply is August 11

Birla Global University (BGU) based out of Bhubaneswar has started accepting applications for its newly launched 2-year full-time MBA program in Business Analytics which is valid from the 2026-28 session. Prospective candidates can register themselves online on or before Aug 11 with the annual course fee being ₹14 lakh.

How to Apply?

The students can make an application with the marks obtained from well-known national-level entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT or MAT. In case you have not got a valid score from any of these exams then there is nothing to panic as BGU allows you to appear for its own entrance test known as the Birla Global University Entrance Test (BET) followed by a written test and an interview.

To be eligible, you should have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and 45 per cent for SC and ST students.

What Makes This Course Special?

This MBA program has been jointly developed with KPMG which is one of the leading consulting firms in the world. Approximately 30 per cent of the lectures are going to be delivered by KPMG experts themselves providing the students with industry insights.

The course focuses on skills that are relevant today such as machine learning, analytics, business intelligence, visualisation and modelling. Students will also get hands-on experience through live projects, internships and case studies.

What Makes This Course Special?

This course includes management courses as well as courses on technology and data analysis. It aims to develop expertise in artificial intelligence tools, large-scale data analysis technologies and statistical tools in addition to management and statistics.

BGU’s Vice-Chancellor Kulbhushan Balooni explained that this program would teach students the skills they needed in order to interpret organisational data for effective decision-making within their respective companies. According to Dean, Dr Parameswar Nayak this program equips students with both theory and practical application.
