The GMAT 2025 registration process is the initial step for any individual wanting to appear for the GMAT test. It is completely online through the official website mba.com. Depending on their convenience candidates can choose to take the GMAT at home or at a testing location.

The initial step is that the test-taker has to register and create a GMAT account, provide personal and academic information and schedule a test. Through registration, applicants can also report their scores to specific business schools, enroll in the GMASS search service and ask for accommodations if necessary.

It is critical that all data entered is exactly the same as the ID that will be provided on the exam day. Once the exam fee and registration form are filled the GMAT registration is finalised.

GMAT Registration 2025: How to Apply?

The GMAT is a computer-based entrance test and the whole process of registration is also computer-based. To start with you must first build a GMAT profile. Here are the simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official GMAT website MBA.com and establish your exam profile.

Step 2: Create your login credentials (username and password) to register for the exam.

Step 3: At registration time, you will be prompted to receive notifications regarding scholarships, business school admissions and offers from GMAC. This is voluntary.

Step 4: You can also opt to provide your information to business schools via GMASS which would enable them to contact you.

Step 5: Once logged in, you will have to enter your personal information such as name, email, address, phone number and desired language.

Step 6: You'll then be prompted to enter details about your background including date of birth, gender, mother tongue, work experience, undergraduate course and career objectives. Colleges affiliated with GMASS can use this to contact you.

Step 7: After completing all these steps your GMAT profile will be created successfully and you'll be able to proceed with the booking of the exam.

GMAT 2025 ID Requirements for Test Day (Test Centre & Online)

For GMAT at the Test Centres

On the day of the GMAT test at a test centre, all candidates will need to present a valid international passport. In case of absence of the passport, the expiry of the passport, or incorrectness of the passport the test will be cancelled and the candidate will forfeit the entire exam fee. No exemptions are permitted.

For Online GMAT Tests

If the test is taken online candidates are required to present one government-issued ID as part of the check-in procedure. If the ID is not compliant with all the necessary requirements they will lose the exam fee and will have to pay again to take the test.

Major Update (Effective June 11, 2025):

Aadhaar cards are not accepted as a valid ID in online GMAT tests anymore. If the test date is post-June 11, 2025 candidates have to produce some other valid ID. Otherwise, it will result in cancellation of the test as well as loss of the fee.
