For those candidates who do not want to the test centre, there is the option of taking the test at home. This option is open in all Indian cities and comes with the same format, duration and price as the test centre option.

Even before the candidates schedule a time for the examination, they need to ensure that their laptop or computer, internet and webcam comply with the system requirements provided by ETS.

Yes, you can change between test centre and GRE at Home formats by accessing your ETS account. However, you need to do this at least 4 days prior to your scheduled date and rescheduling fees could apply.

You must have a valid Indian passport at the time of registration and on test day. ETS does not accept expired passports or renewal receipts. It’s advised to register only after receiving your renewed passport.

After completing your registration and payment, you will receive an email confirming from ETS. You may also verify your test appointment under Upcoming Tests on your ETS account.

No, if you do not take the test by not cancelling it at least 4 days before, you will not be refunded and the attempt will be counted.
