The 5-day residential program organised by the Executive Education and Consultancy at IIM Jammu brought together twelve participants from different institutions across India. The valedictory ceremony was attended by Prof Rajesh Sikka, Co-Chairperson of Executive Education and Consultancy at IIM Jammu along with program directors Dr Bijoy Rakshit and Dr Eshika Aggarwal. The Nurturing Future Leadership Program was designed to build leadership skills, strategic thinking and modern perspectives among faculty and academic professionals to help them adapt to the evolving higher education system.
The program included interactive sessions, peer learning, group discussions and topics related to leadership, academic quality, institutional development and emerging challenges in education.
IIM Jammu Co-Chairperson Prof Rajesh Sikka reaffirmed that the institute focuses on strengthening academic leadership and capacity building through executive education programs.
In the valedictory session, Dr Eshika Aggarwal, Program Director, summarised the five-day program and emphasised the need for visionary leadership, adaptability and innovation in the field of higher education. She said such programs help develop responsible academic leaders who can drive institutional growth and excellence. The ceremony ended with certificate distribution and a vote of thanks by Dr Bijoy Rakshit, Program Director. The Nurturing Future Leadership Program (Batch 19) held from 25 to 29 May 2026, aimed to enhance leadership abilities, institutional awareness and modern insights among faculty and academic professionals to help them adapt to the evolving higher education landscape.
