IIT Kharagpur MBA 2026 PI Shortlist Out - Check WAT & PI Dates, Fees and Selection Process

Applicants who have qualified for the cutoff of CAT 2025 and have been shortlisted will have to appear for the WAT and PI on the same date and time as scheduled.

The total fee for the MBA is ₹13.03 lakhs. The average placement package is ₹22.75 LPA which is a great return on investment.

How to Verify the Status of the IIT Kharagpur MBA 2026 PI Shortlist?

Follow these easy steps to check your status - 

1. Visit the official website 

2. Click on the Admission tab and select MBA from the drop-down menu.

3. On the MBA admission page, click on the Selection Status link.

4. Put in your captcha code, password and user ID.

5. Once you log in you will be able to check the status of your PI shortlist and interview schedule.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to attend the interview on the specified date and time at the allocated venue.

IIT Kharagpur MBA 2026 Selection Procedure

The selection process includes a number of steps - 

• Applicants must possess a valid score in CAT 2025 and meet the minimum cutoff requirement as specified by IIT Kharagpur.

• Shortlist for WAT and PI is made on the basis of 2025 CAT exam score, academic record, work experience, application score and gender diversity.

• Final selection is made on the basis of a combined score calculated as follows - 

• CAT 2025 score

• Application rating score

• Performance in WAT

• Performance in Personal Interview

• Gender diversity score for female candidates

• Final admission offers will be made on the basis of overall performance throughout the entire process.
