ISB’s First PGP Young Leaders Cohort Completes Summer Placements for 2025 - Top offer reaches ₹7.3 lakh

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has released the summer internship results for the inaugural batch of its Post Graduate Program in Management for Young Leaders - PGP YL for the 2025 cycle.

ISB’s First PGP Young Leaders Cohort Completes Summer Placements for 2025 - Top offer reaches ₹7.3 lakh

The cohort which has an average work experience of just 11 months received more than 175 internship offers from 38 companies across different sectors. The highest stipend reached ₹7.3 lakh while the average was ₹3.2 lakh. Recruiters from consulting, finance, FMCG, technology, manufacturing and large business groups participated showing strong trust in the program’s early-career talent.

Consulting was the biggest hiring area making up 47 percent of all offers. Accenture led recruitment in this segment with 37 offers. Together McKinsey, Bain and BCG offered 19 bids. Firms like EY-Parthenon, PwC and Deloitte USI also hired for roles in strategy, analytics and business transformation.

In various other sectors also internships were offered - 

Professor Deepa Mani who is the Deputy Dean of Academic Programs at ISB said the outcomes prove the purpose of the Program. She commented that the first PGP YL cohort has shown that even with limited work experience students can compete for important strategic roles when given strong academic training and exposure to modern work environments. She added that the wide range of recruiters and strong roles highlight both the program’s quality and industry’s belief in young talent.

The results reflect ISB’s ongoing partnership with industry and its aim to prepare young professionals for leadership roles. The PGP YL program focuses on helping students build practical skills in technology, data, decision-making and strategy that directly apply to real-world business challenges.
