QS Global MBA Rankings 2026: IIM Bangalore Cracks Top 52! 14 Indian B-Schools Dominate Global Top 100

The QS Global MBA Rankings 2026 are out and Indian B-schools have made a solid impact. IIM Bangalore has moved up by a place to occupy the 52nd rank in the world. IIM Ahmedabad stands at 58 and IIM Calcutta has reached 64. A total of 14 Indian institutes have made it to the top 100.

QS Global MBA Rankings 2026: IIM Bangalore Cracks Top 52! 14 Indian B-Schools Dominate Global Top 100

IIM Indore has seen its ranking improve to enter the 151-200 group while Woxsen School of Business has entered for the first time this year. This overall improvement is led by improved scores in employability, return on investment and thought leadership metrics.

This year a number of institutes made their debut in the rankings including Goa Institute of Management in the 101+ range, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) in the 76-100 range and IIM Kozhikode in the 53rd position.

Six Indian business schools appeared in the top 100 of the worlds best under the employability ranking.

Four of the 14 Indian business schools improved their standing one remained stable and seven dropped a little from last year.

QS Business Master’s Rankings 2026

 This year, India had 37 entries across five specialised master’s categories:

IIM Calcutta’s Business Analytics program ranked in the 81-90 range. IIM Udaipur (91-100) and Woxsen School of Business (101+) featured in the Supply Chain Management category.

Interestingly none of the seven Indian Master’s in Finance programs made it to the global top 200 this year. However three institutes improved under Master’s in Management:
