1. IIM Ahmedabad Leads India at Rank 21
IIM Ahmedabad ranks the highest in India in the Business & Management Studies subject category by securing 21st position globally. This is a strong result that puts IIM-A among the best business schools in the world.
2. IIM Ahmedabad Debuts in Marketing Rankings
IIM Ahmedabad has also made its debut in the Marketing rankings at Rank 21. This is a historic moment as IIM Ahmedabad has made India proud by being the first Indian institute to be included in this subject ranking.
3. IIM Kozhikode's Historic Jump from 141 to 78
The biggest talking point this year is IIM Kozhikode's historic jump from Rank 141 in 2025 to Rank 78 in 2026 in Business and Management Studies. This tremendous jump of 63 places has enabled IIM Kozhikode to enter the top 100 for the very first time.

From just 4 institutes in the top 100 (2025), India now has 7 institutes in the top 100 (2026) in Business & Management which is an indicator of India's rising academic stature in the world.
