What is AP ICET Exam?
AP ICET means Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. This is an entrance exam that is state-specific in nature. This test is taken by those students who wish to seek admission through AP ICET 2026 into MBA programs in colleges across Andhra Pradesh. APSCHE’s AP ICET exam is conducted by Andhra University Visakhapatnam.
This AP ICET is conducted twice a day and nearly 35,000 students appear for it each year while roughly 33,000 students qualify for it annually. This is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that takes place in 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh with more than 290 colleges accepting it.

AP ICET Eligibility Criteria - Who Can Apply?
The candidate who wants to take part in the AP ICET exam 2026 should satisfy the following requirements –
Should be an Indian national along with following local and non-local norms of the state government.
Should hold a three-year bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50 per cent marks while a minimum of 45 per cent marks is required for the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories from an authorised university.
Also those candidates who are pursuing a three-year bachelor’s program and awaiting results are eligible to apply for AP ICET 2026.

Section A of Analytical Ability
Problem Solving
Number Sequences and Letter Series - Identify a pattern in letters or numbers, find the outlier or discover a missing number.
Data Analysis - Interpret data through understanding the data provided in textual, tabular, graphical, pie-chart, bar diagram and Venn diagram forms.
Coding and Decoding - You need to code-decode a given word based on an English alphabet code.
Date, Time and Arrangements - Locks & Calendars, Blood Relations, Arrivals and Departures, Seating Arrangements and Symbol Statements/Notations.
Data Sufficiency - Involves two statements and a problem/question that requires an answer. Determine whether the answer can be obtained from statement (i) alone, statement (ii) alone, both statements together or neither statement.
Section B of Communication Ability
The AP ICET section aims to assess your knowledge of the English language in four different domains -
Vocabulary - Vocabulary items that we commonly use for our communication.
Functional Grammar - Proper usage of grammar for both day-to-day and professional contexts.
Business and Computer terminology - Basic terminologies associated with computers and business documents such as letters, reports, memos, agendas and minutes.
Comprehension - There will be four passages and questions on those passages.
Section C of Mathematical Ability
Arithmetical Ability - Indices, ratios and proportions, surds, number theory, LCM and GCD, rational numbers, percentages, profit and loss, partnerships, pipes and cisterns, time-speed-distance, work problems, areas, volumes, mensuration and modular arithmetic are among the topics covered.
Algebraical & Geometrical Ability - Logic statements and truth tables, sets, relations and functions, coordinate geometry (line equation), trigonometry, polynomials, linear equations, progressions, Binomial Theorem, matrices, basic calculus (limits & derivatives) and plane geometry (lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles) are among the subjects covered.
Statistical Ability - Frequency distribution, mean, median, mode, standard deviation, correlation and fundamental probability problems are among the subjects covered.
How to Prepare for AP ICET 2026?
Some useful preparation tips that can help candidates prepare well for the AP ICET exam include –
Identify the topics involved and the number of questions from each topic.
Assign a separate time for preparing each subject and spend more time on improving weaker subjects.
This will increase candidates efficiency while attempting questions and get them accustomed to the paper pattern.
Concentrate more on learning the basics of mathematics and logical reasoning syllabus than memorising formulae.
Practice reading newspapers, articles and books to improve reading skills and vocabulary.
Remember that there is no need to dwell on any particular problem at length.
Try to identify shortcuts to solve problems.

AP ICET Mock Test 2026
Once the mock test is released all the registered candidates can appear for the AP ICET 2026 Mock Test in the online mode. AP ICET 2026 Hall Ticket
The APICET 2026 Hall Ticket will be accessible for download on the exam's official website starting on 15 April 2026.
