There is no age criterion or set age bar for appearing in the AP ICET examination. Anyone belonging to any age group can appear for this test provided they are eligible.

Applicants should be citizens of India. Moreover, candidates must fulfil the local or non-local status requirement according to the provisions laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 and subsequent amendments made therein.

The minimum academic qualification required for taking part in AP ICET 2026 includes having a graduation degree of three-year or four years in any discipline from a UGC recognised university.

For general category candidates the minimum marks that is required for graduation is 50%. However, candidates in reserved categories like SC, ST and OBC require 45% aggregate marks to appear in the AP ICET exam.
