By following the TANCET 2026 exam day rules carefully, candidates avoid any problems that may arise unexpectedly during the exam and give their best performance. All the rules have been clearly stated in the TANCET hall ticket too.

Candidates need to produce a printed copy of their TANCET 2026 admit card along with any one of the original photo identity proofs like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport or Driving License. Entry into the exam hall will not be granted without these credentials.

Candidates should report an hour earlier to the TANCET exam centre. The exam will take place in the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates arriving late by more than 30 minutes will not be allowed entry into the test centre. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the test centre until the completion of the test.

As the TANCET 2026 exam is being conducted offline and OMR sheets will be used so candidates need to carry a black ballpoint pen for filling up their OMR sheets as well as pencils and erasers for marking their unsure answers. Candidates cannot borrow stationery inside the exam centre.

The use of mobile phones, calculators, wristwatches, Bluetooth devices and cameras is strictly forbidden inside the TANCET exam centre. Borrowing stationery from other candidates inside the exam centre is strictly prohibited.
