Symbiosis SET Exam 2026: Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Dates & Registration

Symbiosis International University conducts the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for students who want to join its undergraduate courses. This exam is usually held in May. Students from anywhere in the country can appear in the SET exam. Students who want to study courses such as BBA in Symbiosis colleges are required to appear for this test.

The candidates can choose to appear for the SET on one or both of the available test dates, and the highest score will be taken into consideration. After the test the institutes may hold additional rounds of selection such as a Personal Interview (PI) or a Written Ability Test (WAT) for final admission.

What is the Symbiosis SET Exam 2026?

The Symbiosis SET exam is a university-level entrance exam which is organised by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to undergraduate courses. The SET exam is organised online and it is primarily conducted for the BBA course at Symbiosis colleges. Candidates who have passed or are appearing for Class 12 are eligible to apply for this entrance exam. In short SET is the principal entrance exam for UG courses at Symbiosis colleges in India.

The SET 2026 is an undergraduate-level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to BBA and other UG courses. SET 2026 Exam Dates

The SET Exam application process starts from 15 December 2025 and the last date to apply is 15 April 2026. The admit cards will be released on 24 April for Test 1 and 30 April for Test 2. The SET exams will be conducted on 2 May 2026 and 10 May 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The results will be announced on 20 May 2026.

SET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria for SET exam 2026 are as follows.

• The candidate should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in the same stream from a recognised board or university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

• Applicants who are appearing for Class 12 or are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

• However, they need to provide proof of passing at the time of admission.

• Foreign board students need to obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.

• After successful registration, your SET ID and password will be sent to your email and SMS. This ID will be used for all further communication.

Important instructions

• Online registration is to be done by April 15, 2026. There will be no changes allowed after the submission of the online application.

• The candidate can appear on May 2 and/or May 10, 2026. The better score will be taken into consideration.

Symbiosis Entrance Test 2026 Application Fees

The application fee for SET 2026 is ₹2250 per test and government taxes will be applicable. In addition to this, there is a programme registration fee of ₹1000 and this is also subject to taxes.

Note- Both fees are mandatory, non-refundable and non-transferable. The application will not be considered if the programme fee is unpaid.
